Das Reich Gottes verkündigen
Matthäus 3,2; Matthäus 4,17 und Matthäus 10,7- „Das Reich der Himmel ist nahe gekommen“ – Was ist das Reich Gottes, von dem hier gesprochen wird? Worum geht es bei dieser Botschaft? Wie würde sie in heutiger Sprache lauten, sodass Menschen sie verstehen?
Jesus baut Reich Gottes
Matthäus 4,23-25- Im Evangelium von Matthäus gilt dieser Abschnitt als die Zusammenfassung des Wirkens Jesu. Wie hat Jesus also Reich Gottes gebaut? (Denkt auch an andere Berichte vom Wirken Jesu.)
- Wir haben gerade von „großen Volksmengen“ (Mt 4,25) gelesen. In der Bergpredigt spricht Jesus zu solch einer Menschenmasse, doch die meiste Zeit verbrachte er mit den zwölf Jüngern. Was sollen wir nun machen: zu vielen predigen oder mit wenigen leben? Was baut eurer Meinung nach das Reich Gottes am besten auf?
- In die Ausbildung der Zwölf steckte Jesus viel Lebensenergie. Worin seht ihr den Zweck von solch kleinen Gruppen (Kleingruppen)? Welchen Unterschied macht es, ob wir allein, Teil einer großen Gemeinde oder Teil einer kleinen Gruppe sind?
Die Methode Jesu
Lest bitte folgendes Zitat und tauscht euch darüber aus: Allein die Vorgehensweise Christi wird den wahren Erfolg garantieren. Der Heiland mischte sich unter die Menschen als einer, der Gutes für sie wünschte. Er bewies sein Mitgefühl für sie, kümmerte sich um ihre Bedürfnisse und gewann ihr Vertrauen. Erst dann forderte er sie auf: „Folgt mir nach.“ Es ist also notwendig, durch persönlichen Einsatz den Menschen erst einmal nahe zu kommen. (Ellen White, Ministry of Healing, S. 143 = Auf den Spuren des großen Arztes, S. 106)- Was ist das Besondere an dieser Methode Jesu?
- Worin unterscheidet sich die „Methode Jesu“ (hier in fünf Verben ausgedrückt) von einem 5-Schritte-Programm zum Erfolg?
- Wie könnte so eine Vorgehensweise heute aussehen?
- „… wird den wahren Erfolg garantieren.“ – Was betrachtet ihr als Erfolg beim Bauen des Reiches Gottes?
Der Auftrag Jesu
Matthäus 28,18-20- Jesus gibt hier einen weiteren Auftrag zum Reich Gottes bauen. Das Taufen scheint dabei der einfachere Teil des „Jüngermachens“ zu sein. Was aber beinhaltet „(1) lehrt (2) sie (3) alles (4) zu bewahren, (5) was ich euch geboten habe“? Was genau versteht ihr darunter?
Die Haltung der Baumeister des Gottesreichs
Matthäus 6,33- Wie sieht das in eurem Leben aus, dass ihr „zuerst“ nach dem Reich Gottes trachtet?
- Wo gewinnt ihr den Eindruck, dass dieser Text hauptsächlich nur ein frommer Liedkanon bleibt und wenig im Leben der Adventgemeinde greift? Was müsste eurer Meinung nach konkret passieren, damit wir zuerst nach Gottes Reich trachten und seine Gemeinde bauen?
- Träumen wir ein bisschen miteinander: Wie sieht eine Adventkirche aus, in der zuerst Reich Gottes gebaut wird? Aus welchen Gründen wird es Menschen zu solch einer „Traumkirche“ hinziehen?

- “The kingdom of heaven has come near” – What is the kingdom of heaven mentioned here? What is this message about? How would it read in today’s language so that people could understand it?
Jesus builds the Kingdom of God
Matthew 4:23-25
- In the Gospel of Matthew, this passage is considered the summary of Jesus’ ministry. So how did Jesus build the kingdom of God? (Think also of other accounts of Jesus’ ministry).
Mark 3:13, 14
- We have just read about “great crowds” (Matt 4:25). In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus speaks to such a crowd, but most of his time was spent with the twelve disciples. What should we do now: preach to many or live with few? What do you think, which of the two options best builds the kingdom of God?
- Jesus put a lot of energy into training the twelve. Where do you see the purpose of such small groups? What difference does it make whether we are alone, part of a large church or part of a small group?

Christ’s approach alone will guarantee true success. The Savior mingled with the people as one who wished well for them. He showed compassion for them, attended to their needs, and gained their trust. Only then did he ask them: “Follow me.” It is therefore necessary to get close to people through personal commitment. - What is special about this method of Jesus?
- How is the “method of Jesus” different from a 5-step programme to success?
- What might such a procedure look like today?
- “… will guarantee true success.” – What do you consider success in building the Kingdom of God?

- Here Jesus gives another command to build the kingdom of God. Baptising seems to be the easier part of “making disciples”. But what does “(1) teach (2) them (3) to keep (4) all things (5) that I have commanded you” mean? What exactly do you understand?
The attitude of the builders of the Kingdom of God
Matthew 6:33
- How does this look like in your life, to seek “first” the Kingdom of God?
- Where do you get the impression that this text remains just a pious canon of songs and has little effect on the life of the Adventist Church? In your opinion, what would have to happen specifically so that we first strive for God’s kingdom and build his church?
- Let us dream a little together: What does an Adventist church look like where God’s kingdom is built first? For what reasons will people be drawn to such a “dream church”?

Matei 3:13,14
- Mai devreme am citit despre „multe noroade“ (Matei 4:25). La predica de pe munte Isus vorbea unei astfel de mulțimi de oameni, dar majoritatea timpului o petrecea cu ucenicii Săi. Noi ce dorim să facem: să predicăm unei mulțimi sau să trăim viața de zi cu zi alături de un număr mai mic de oameni? Care dintre modalități este mai eficientă în construirea împărăției lui Dumnezeu?
- Isus i-a învățat pe ucenici cu multă dăruire. Care credeți că este scopul unei grupe mici de oameni? Cu ce diferă dacă suntem singuri, parte dintr-o comunitate mare sau parte dintr-o grupă mică?
Metoda lui isus
Citiți și discutați următorul citat:
Numai metoda lui Hristos va aduce un succes real în încercarea de a ajunge la inima oamenilor. Mântuitorul S-a unit cu oamenii ca unul care le dorea binele. El și-a arătat simpatia față de ei, s-a îngrijit de nevoile lor și le-a câștigat încrederea. Apoi le-a spus: „Urmați-Mă“. Este nevoie să ne apropiem de oameni prin eforturi personale. (Divina vindecare, pag. 107, 108)
- Ce este deosebit la metoda lui Isus Hristos?
- Cu ce diferă „metoda lui Isus“ (descrisă în cinci verbe) față de un program „5 pași către succes“?
- Cum ar arăta o astfel de abordare în ziua noastră?
- „… va aduce un succes real…– ce considerați a fi un succes real când vine vorba de construirea împărăției lui Dumnezeu?
Chemarea lui Isus
Matei 28:18-20
- Isus Hristos dă o altă poruncă pentru construirea împărăției lui Dumnezeu. Botezul pare să fie partea ușoară în “formarea de ucenici”. Ce conține însă ideea: “(1) învățați-i (2) să păzească (3) tot (4) ce v-am poruncit”? Ce se poate înțelege din această chemare?
Atitudinea celor ce construiesc Împărăția
Matei 6:33
- Cum se vede în viața voastră căutarea după împărăția lui Dumnezeu „mai întâi“ de toate?
- În care domeniu din viața bisericii aveți impresia că principiul amintit mai sus rămâne doar pe plan teoretic, iar pe plan practic nu este trăit cu adevărat? Ce ar trebui să se întâmple concret, ca să căutăm “mai întâi” împărăția lui Dumnezeu și să construim biserica Sa?
- Să facem un exercițiu de imaginație: Cum arată o biserică adventă, în care se construiește mai întâi Împărăția lui Dumnezeu? Care sunt motivele pentru care oamenii vor fi atrași de o astfel de biserică, o “biserica de vis“?
